The concert was great. He played a nice, approximately 50/50 mixture of Solo and Straits stuff.
My favourite songs were Sultans Of Swing and Telegraph Road (my favourite all time straits song). Both of these built up to huge, explosive endings with some spectacular lead guitar. The whole of SOS was particularily jaw dropping.
Parts were also kind of funny as Mark took rests to have some chicken soup and tea (he had previously has a sore throat but sounded fine on the night) - talking with the audience, particularily those shouting out requests.
Since I didn't know for a while where I would be while Mark was touring it took me a while to buy tickets so my seat was pretty far back, but Rod Laver Arena isn't too big so it wasnt that bad.
Anyway, there was great sound, atmosphere and lighting and I just wish I could have seen him again.
